AquaFlow Studio

LuxuryCon's proprietary design and choreography software for authoring, previewing, and deploying fountain shows on a visual timeline.

AquaFlow Studio is the creative heart of the LuxuryCon platform. It gives designers a visual timeline on which to compose a performance — laying jet sequences, colour transitions, and fire effects against music or a clock, and previewing the whole show before it ever touches hardware. What would otherwise be painstaking low-level programming becomes a design act: drag, layer, time, and refine.

Finished shows compile directly to the format the AI Controller runs, so there is no gap between what the designer sees and what the fountain performs. The Studio understands the capabilities of each installation — its zones, nozzle types, and light fixtures — and keeps the choreography within what the hardware can safely deliver. It is the tool that lets a single choreographer program a landmark fountain in days rather than months.

AI Choreography

Machine-assisted generation of fountain choreography — turning a piece of music or a design brief into a synchronised show.

AI Choreography is LuxuryCon's applied-intelligence layer for show creation. Given a piece of music, it analyses tempo, beat, and dynamics and proposes a synchronised sequence of water and light — a fully-formed first draft a human choreographer can then refine in AquaFlow Studio. It compresses the slowest part of programming a musical fountain into minutes and gives smaller teams the creative reach of a large studio.

The same intelligence adapts shows to context — shortening a sequence for a scheduled slot, matching an installation's palette, or generating variations so a fountain never plays exactly the same show twice. It is choreography as a collaboration between a designer's intent and a system that understands both the music and the machine.

PLC Automation

Programmable Logic Controllers running the safety-critical, always-on logic of an installation — the proven backbone of industrial control.

Beneath the show layer, LuxuryCon builds on Programmable Logic Controllers — the same rugged, deterministic hardware that runs factories and water-treatment plants. PLCs handle the tasks that must never fail: pump sequencing, water-level management, interlocks, safety shutdowns, and the orderly start-up and shut-down of the whole system. They run in real time, tolerate harsh environments, and keep operating for decades.

By separating safety-critical automation (PLC) from creative sequencing (the AI Controller), we get the best of both worlds: shows can be as ambitious as a designer likes, while the fundamentals — never running a pump dry, never energising a faulted zone — are guarded by industrial logic that a plant engineer anywhere in the world can understand and service.

DMX (DMX512)

The industry-standard DMX512 protocol used to control every light, and often every valve, as an addressable channel.

DMX512 is the lighting-control standard of the entertainment world, and it is the language LuxuryCon fountains speak to their lights. Every submersible luminaire is a set of addressable DMX channels — intensity and colour — which means the controller can command hundreds of fixtures individually and in perfect time. It is the foundation that makes pixel-level lighting choreography possible.

Because DMX is a universal standard, a LuxuryCon installation integrates naturally with stage lighting, architectural façade systems, and event production rigs. With RDM (Remote Device Management) layered on top, fixtures can also report their status back — so the system knows not just what it commanded, but what actually responded.

Art-Net

The Art-Net protocol carries thousands of DMX channels over standard Ethernet networks, enabling large, distributed installations.

A single DMX line carries 512 channels — enough for a modest fountain, but not for a plaza with thousands of individually controlled lights and valves. Art-Net solves this by transporting many DMX "universes" over ordinary Ethernet cabling. LuxuryCon uses Art-Net as the nervous system of large installations: one network backbone distributing control to nodes across an entire site.

This network-native approach brings the reliability and flexibility of standard IT infrastructure to fountain control. Runs are longer, wiring is simpler, capacity scales into the thousands of channels, and diagnostics ride the same network — the foundation for genuinely monumental, multi-zone installations.

SCADA

Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition — the operations layer that visualises, logs, and commands an entire installation's machinery.

SCADA is the discipline of supervising industrial processes at a system level, and LuxuryCon applies it to large water features and their plant rooms. A SCADA layer aggregates data from every PLC, drive, sensor, and pump into a single operational view — pressures, flows, levels, temperatures, run states — and lets an operator command the system, acknowledge alarms, and review historical trends.

For an owner, this is the difference between a black box and a managed asset. Trends reveal a pump beginning to degrade weeks before it fails; alarm logs turn troubleshooting from guesswork into evidence. SCADA is where a LuxuryCon installation becomes not just controllable but understood.

Digital Twins

A continuously-updated digital replica of each installation, used to design, simulate, monitor, and maintain it throughout its life.

A Digital Twin is a virtual model of a physical installation that stays synchronised with the real thing. LuxuryCon builds a twin of each fountain during design — its hydraulics, zones, fixtures, and effects — and keeps it alive with live telemetry once the installation is running. The same model that let us simulate the display before construction becomes the lens through which we monitor and maintain it afterwards.

The twin makes the invisible visible. Engineers can test a new show against the model without risking hardware, diagnose a fault by comparing real behaviour to expected, and plan maintenance around the twin's picture of component wear. It is the connective tissue between AquaFlow Studio, SCADA, predictive maintenance, and the LUXPULSE dashboard — one coherent model of the asset from design to decommission.

Predictive Maintenance

Public fountains fail in public. LuxuryCon's answer is to stop failures before they happen. By continuously analysing the telemetry every installation produces — pump pressures and currents, run hours, temperatures, water quality — the system detects the slow signatures of wear and flags a component while there is still time to act. A bearing trending warm, a pump losing efficiency, a valve cycling slower: each is caught early and turned into a scheduled service, not an emergency.

Secure Internet-of-Things connectivity that streams each fountain's data to the cloud and brings remote monitoring and control to the whole fleet.

IoT connectivity is what lets a fountain in one city be watched and managed from another. Each LuxuryCon installation is fitted with secure connectivity that streams its telemetry to the cloud and accepts commands and show updates in return. Sensors throughout the system — level, flow, pressure, power, temperature, water quality — feed a continuous data stream that powers monitoring, alerts, and predictive maintenance.

We treat connectivity as critical infrastructure, not a convenience: encrypted links, authenticated devices, and graceful behaviour if the network drops, so an installation always runs safely on its own logic even when offline. Machine Vision

Camera-based intelligence used for interactive effects, safety monitoring, and automated quality inspection.

Machine Vision gives LuxuryCon systems the ability to perceive. On interactive installations, cameras let a fountain respond to people — tracing movement across a dry-deck plaza so jets follow a child's path, or triggering effects as a crowd gathers. For safety, vision can watch for people entering restricted zones or spot debris and hazards on the water surface, adding a layer of awareness beyond fixed sensors.
